The art of burlesque and the people who practice it get enticingly exposed in this documentary that ventures behind the curtain and into the lives of Portland artists such as Babs Jamboree, Angelique DeVil and the Stage Door Johnnies. If the word “burlesque” makes you think of old-timey vaudeville raunchiness or crass strip-joint exploitation, prepare to be enlightened. The burrito-themed act is a highlight.
